Bet of the Week: 'Husker fan eats an entire bar of soap

Saturday was rough enough for Nebraska partisans, what with the end of their undefeated season, the humbling of star quarterback Taylor Martinez and the last in a long line of painful flops against the Cornhuskers' arch-Big 12 nemesis, Texas, before they move on to the Big Ten next year. But as far as we know, only one of the Big Red faithful actually lived up to his promise to send himself to the emergency room by attempting to literally wash out the taste of defeat:

OK, we don't know if this guy went to the emergency room. He remains conscious at the end of the video, and if stereotypical moms from the 1950s knew anything, it was that ingesting a little soap is always a good way to build character. (Well, most of the time.) But if any chemistry majors out there want to chime in on what the mixture of lye and alcohol is doing to this dedicated bro's stomach, by all means, enlighten us.
