Vintage Tube: Time travel proof? '50s teacher knew Series score!

We've uncovered some shocking video, thanks to the pop culture website BoingBoing (not to be confused with the Jerry Lewis movie "Boeing Boeing"). This past week, BoingBoing promoted a video of a woman in a 1928 Charlie Chaplin movie who appeared to be talking on a mobile phone.

Yeah, well, those didn't come out until the '60s. So, obviously, someone from the future has been messing with us. And these time travelers are popping up everywhere.

In what otherwise appears to be an amusing civil defense film from the 1950s, a schoolmarm is shown instructing her class on what to do in case of a nuclear attack by the Reds. Stop, drop, get incinerated. That whole bit.

At the 0:35 mark, the film cuts to a close-up of the chalkboard.

And there was the chilling phrase:

Game No. 2

giants 9
rangers 0

I probably don't have to remind you of the outcome of Game 2 of the World Series.

What do these Future People want? Is it just Biff Tannen and his Grays Sports Almanac stolen from Marty McFly, making a few bets? Or is it something more sinister? We'll have more as news develops.
