Video: How a Nick Saban statue is born, from the top

It took sculptors well over a year to successfully render the face and hair of Alabama coach Nick Saban to the satisfaction of both the university and Mrs. Saban, who finally gave the go-ahead on the version of the statue that arrived in Tuscaloosa last month to join the graven images of Saban's title-winning predecessors in the "Walk of Champions" outside of Bryant-Denny Stadium. But via TideSports.com, you can watch the whole thing come together in a little over two-and-a-half minutes:

I'm assuming that's just a scale model for the actual, life-size statue, although frankly, Jadeveon Clowney doesn't see the difference. The statue is set to be unveiled before the spring A-Day game on April 16.
