From the things you should never admit in public, even if it is 20 years later file comes England legend Gary Lineker's admission that he pooped his pants right there on the pitch during his side's first match of the 1990 World Cup against Ireland.
Not only does he admit to BBC Radio how it "just happened" after a failed attempt to make a tackle, but he goes on to give far too much information about how "it was messy." The good news? The awful stench kept opponents away (and probably teammates, too), helping him find a lot more open space.
So remember, kids. If you want to be like those great footballers in the World Cup and you want to find more open space for yourself, just let it all go right there on the pitch. And hope it rained recently.
